Movoto tracked a median asking price around $1.04 million in June 2026, at roughly $288 per square foot — a figure that swings month to month because only a dozen or so homes are typically on the market here at once. The takeaway holds either way: village addresses within walking distance of Main Street are scarce, and well-priced listings do not sit.

No other village south of Boston looks like this one. The H.H. Families land here for Oliver Ames High School, which Niche ranks #60 among Massachusetts public high schools and #1 in Bristol County, with about 1,045 students and a 13:1 student-teacher ratio; U.S. News places it 96th statewide. Stonehill College's 380-plus-acre campus, built on a former Ames estate, adds lectures, Division II athletics, and college-town energy at the village's edge, while Borderland State Park spreads more than 1,800 acres of trails across the old Oakes and Blanche Ames estate to the northwest. Commuters take Route 138 to Stoughton's commuter rail station or Route 24 toward Boston, with Mansfield's Providence Line trains the faster alternative. South Coast Rail's Phase 2 plan would put a station in North Easton itself, though it remains unfunded. Easton's FY2026 tax rate of $12.59 per $1,000 undercuts neighboring Sharon at $17.15 and Mansfield at $13.09.
